International Print Media Exhibition

Grand Via venue, Barcelona, Spain.

Visitors to the MGV Color stand (Pavillion 2, Stand 424) at Graphispag, 22-26th March 2011 will be able to see the latest in Packaging prepress and proofing solutions.

Live demonstrations of MaxPro will be taking place throughout the duration of the exhibition and visitors will also have the opportunity to see how easily high-quality packaging proofs can be produced with the Star Proof and the Epson Stylus Pro WT7900 combination.

MaxColor is one of the new features within the MaxPro suite of packaging pre press tools which will be making it’s debut at the show. MaxColor has been developed to reduce separations and/or convert CMYK Separations to spot colours, with the resultant image using less ink, producing more vibrant colours and a better quality registration whether printing Gravure, Flexo or UV Offset.

Star Proof accepts Raster data in 1 Bit Tiff or Barco “Len” file formats at resolutions up to 4,000 dpi, screen rulings up to 200 lpi/80 lpcm and support for the latest HD Flexo screening technologies. The resultant data integral proof sets high standards in inkjet proofing with faithful reproduction of dot shape, trapping, pull-backs and overprints.

Used in conjunction with the Epson Stylus Pro WT7900, Star Proof gives users the ability to produce samples, prototypes and final proofs which are representative of the actual printed article. To fully compliment Epson ClearProof Film™ and Metallic film™, Star Proof also gives full control over white ink density and hue, allowing adjustments to be made simply and quickly. Reverse print and surface print modes are also fully supported.
